Watched the full review last night. From what I took from the review, the only USP is the ability to consume a Bluetooth audio feed and manipulate it using the controller. I.E. loop it, effects, scratching. I racked my brain for any non-novelty reason why you would need to do this, and couldn’t. Its actually a stand alone device aimed at portability, so up against the Denon prime go / Mixtstream Pro, but hard to justify the huge $1600 price for the ability to use Rekordbox vs Engine.
Think there will be a market for the Rekordbox fanboys, but if i was starting out id pay half the price and get a Numark Mixstream Pro with inbuilt speakers, then move onto the SC range of players if need be.
