DJ setups/Mixer porn/New toys thread...
Mark Farina is an outstanding dj though, despite all the plants.
That’s not Farina’s set up, lads
I stand by my comment.
mono-stereo Here all week btw
Pioneer is teasing a new mixer. If it’s a 4 channel-version of V10 then consider me interested. But it looks like a midlevel-mixer in the vein of a DJM850 or something like that.
They need to do something. Denon are leaving them in the dust
If they added streaming to the CDJ I would be all over it. Seems like they’re being blocked from doing so.
What are the Denon stand alone mixers like?
I’m so fucked off with Pioneer and their supply issues, I’m tempted to sell up, get my money back and buy Denon.
I’m tempted by this..
Leaks indicate it’s a four channel version of FLX4, so… Another controller. The picture looks about right for that actually.
Get on the Denon train ladies .
Stop being fleeced for less functional gear
i wonder are the jogs on that denon, digital or mechanical?
So many controllers…..ridiculous.
seanc80 no tension adjust available so imagine they’re digital. They’re also not the same size jog wheels as the standalone CDJs - only 6” which is the same as the RX2. The XZ has full size 8” jog wheels - that fizzles out my interest in the Prime 4
Along_the_Wire are you a scratch DJ, Grant? COOL!
He said Fizzle, not Shizzle.
Dig?
Millsy just a preference for bigger, mechanical jog wheels, Millsy, I found the RX2 ones to be really quite shit.
Agree with Grant here, the digital wheels feel awful. I don’t need big ones like he does, but they need to be mechanical. Sadly no tension adjust in my XDJ700s, but they are mechanical.
Playing digital music and having to nudge a track a few milliseconds really doesn’t need a full mechanical jog imho. Grant just wants to do spinbacks and crab scratches in his pants, which is basically my idea of a perfect retirement too, so fair play to him.

i agree with Grant, a mechanical jog is a must really
Pioneer it is then lol.
Luddites!
