Anyone been following the Oz open tennis? Hoping Ozaka wins the ladies and that Medvedev beats Djok tomorrow and stops his 20th slam. Medvedev looks a cracking player and has a bit of attitude (which I like)

Good idea for a thread but I think it will break down pretty rapidly as people try to discuss multiple events simultaneously. Six Nations Rugby and England vs India Tests are all going to be discussed in the coming weeks.

I haven’t seen much of Brady before but this was sublime.

    bosstrabs she’s giving a good account of herself since its her first slam final but Osaka is on her way to greatness. Four finals and soon to be four wins is hugely impressive

      Totally dominant on the hard courts, now she has to win on grass and clay

      Osaka was too good for Brady. I can see her getting at least 10 slams. Class act.

        Dan I was pleased that Medvedev won in three yesterday. Keeps him fresh for the final. Djok already had the advantage of playing 24 hours earlier

          Good idea! Just can’t warm to Djok no doubt he’s unreal but just don’t like his game, world of loved to see Nadal win it

                  It’s all a mind game with him.

                    Dan amazing player, will likely be the best ever. Already in conversation with majors/heads to heads with Roger and Rafa.

                        The only thing that’ll stop that happening is injury or the new breed pull their finger out and challenge more. Medvedev has that ruthless streak in him to do it.

                              Long jump I get, how far can a human jump, but the triple is just bollox, a hop a skip and a jump lol.

                                  Did high jump in school. No matter how many times I did it, and I was pretty good, I never shook the feeling I was going to smash into the ground. Momentum just isn’t something I understand, apparently.
