That’s some legacy those cunts have left. The sonic equivalent of The Yorkshire Ripper.

Glad I got to see them live.

    Proper smashed it.

My thoughts on DP are well documented. In short, good riddance.

Homework is an absolutely boss album still. Can take or leave most of their output after that.

Daft Punk wouldn’t be dissed by anyone who heard this on a big system…

Homework and Discovery are stunning albums. RAM has its moments too. Still waiting for Banghalter to release a roule comp. Was a great label

Good to see he named his last track after the greatest club of all time.

Don’t see any breeder remixes or productions on that tracklists, what a carry on for a 2002 mix! S to the Werve!

Awful stuff altogether. Let’s just forget they ever existed.

bosstrabs Good to see he named Track 4 after Ed Smallman.

      He called it ‘The Ledge?’

‘Homework’ was good. The rest was vomit inducing audible child rape that opened the gateway to the horrors of EDM.

Saw them prior to the whole robot thing about around 1997.

      Smashed it.

Saw them when they had the pyramid going.

Absolute blast. I had never seen anything like that before.

Didn’t care for RAM but was nice to see a group that had once been signed to Soma becoming the biggest stars in music for a little while there. They earned their chops.

A pretty timeless mix if you like Chicago House and how it influenced the French sound. I think it won E.Mix of the year but I’m not positive.

I loved Homework, and I liked the production work they did with the Weeknd on his album a few years ago, but aside from that….pass.

jonattonyeah Granmy for best album. RAM had some lovely moments. Beautifully produced too with some great musicians on it

Remember being massively underwhelmed when I first heard Da Funk….just sounded like Rhubard and Custard theme tune …but slow. Liked some stuff, I’m sure seeing them live would have been an experience , oh well.

Kells77 you genuinely think their work on the Weeknd album was better than Discovery?

Phil-McRackin some them on their homework tour. Basement Jaxx and Dimitri from Paris played before them. Fantastic night

If you haven’t heard Daft Punk live you haven’t lived.

One of my friends mentioned that their festival sets were a lot better….can anyone confirm?

Haven’t been this upset since Milli Vanilli split

Kells77 One of my friends mentioned that their festival sets were a lot better….can anyone confirm?

Only ever saw them once in Hyde Park and they proper smashed it.

Smallman1 Was there myself. They levelled the place.

think this is the same set from the month before.

                  • Dan replied to this.

Millsy is slagging off Daft Punk and Basement Jaxx because he was ‘shooting hoops’ and listening to bad hip-hop like Mobb Deep and Jurassic Five in 1998.

                    FEWMIN!

Didn’t Orbital call it quits once, only to be back in under 2 years?

Dry-Tinder Didn’t Orbital call it quits once, only to be back in under 2 years?

I don’t think Orbital ever made serious life-changing bank from a Pharrell Williams collab though.

Though I’d like to see such a thing.
