Probably some of the Anjunadeep Mixes, though guessing at the definition of unpopular

Dan Thats a good one, didn’t realise it was unpopular though

His live-mixing on it left some cold.

I loved Uruguay, but thought Bogota was kack.

    I’m awaiting the Involv3r discussion here…

bosstrabs If a CD has some anime / manga on the front, you can almost guarantee it’s gonna be gash.

SM001 Sorry lads but I have impeccable tast.

    But questionable spelling 🤣🤦‍♂️

PVD vorsprung and TDV GU 5. Thought TDV was brilliant when I was a wee clubbing nipper

Homegrove Strange as they’d prefer pro tools to do the work? I’ve always thought him along with Sander K/Zabiela were technically brilliant.

I absolutely loved Prototype 2. Still holds as one of my favourite trance mix cds.

Old-Dutch yep, liked the series actually, still do. Lousy live dj though

        Love Uruguay.

Didn’t make it there though in 2007 as I broke my leg in Buenos Aires whilst sloshed.

-si- yeah as bosstrabs said - not sure it’s unpopular. I loved it as a kid anyway and it still has a lot of top tunes.

I’ve seen Miss Kittin get some stick on here, but her ‘Radio Caroline vol. 1’ and ‘Electroclash’ CD for Muzik mag are both really excellent.

        Never saw her live though.

Love threads like these. Everyone gets coaxed into a false sense of security and lets their guard down whilst secretly notes are being made on the spreadsheet behind the scenes

Her Bugged Out Mix is shockingly good.

Heard she’s an absolute POS in real-life.

Looking through my CDs I realise I’ve not one trance cd. Phew.

SM001 Sorry lads but I have impeccable taste.

My bad. Looks like your autocorrect is on a timer delay.

Upvote issued so no bad feelings linger 🤣

I enjoyed Tranceport back in its day. Dunno if that’s looked upon very fondly.

Yeah I guess I do. Haven’t put it on in probably 20 years but that Sasha mix of Gus Gus is good, always had a spot for Greece 2000…I suppose I still do like it even if it’s of its time. You all had a regular dose of Trance. We didn’t have much of that here, so it was different.

                  Dan
Neither have I. I don’t have a lot really apart from a for a few GU’s and Balance mixes. I was spending most of my money on vinyl. Couldn’t afford to do both.

jonattonyeah the one Oakenfold cd that always gets an annual run out is his Goa mix. Still pops and makes me wish I heard him play it in Goa 😀

I’ve got a load of Reactivate CDs - fucking loved them back in the day. Club 414 in Coldharbour Lane used to me a haunt of mine for quite a bit.

bosstrabs Heard she’s an absolute POS in real-life.

She’s an absolute Point of Sale?

Dan the first half of disc one is really good. goes downhill at save me, but the first bit is great house music.

I listened to that free with Mixmag Trance and Bass CD more than is generally recommended. I never sought out anything else in that particular genre as that was probably enough but I enjoyed it at the time.

bosstrabs Pretty sure she was playing for Bugged Out and had a major meltdown. Not welcomed back was the outcome.

Can’t say I’ve see anyone actually bash it per se (cue people bashing it), but because it was compiled by Pete Tong, and the fact I’ve never heard anyone (other than myself) talk about it on here, I’ll say: -

Ministry Of Sound - The Annual 2 (CD1)

Vague now and then mixed by TWA. What a night that was
