Probably some of the Anjunadeep Mixes, though guessing at the definition of unpopular
Unpopular mix CDs you love
Darren Emerson Uruguay
His live-mixing on it left some cold.
I loved Uruguay, but thought Bogota was kack.

I’m awaiting the Involv3r discussion here…

PVD vorsprung and TDV GU 5. Thought TDV was brilliant when I was a wee clubbing nipper
I absolutely loved Prototype 2. Still holds as one of my favourite trance mix cds.
Love Uruguay.
Didn’t make it there though in 2007 as I broke my leg in Buenos Aires whilst sloshed.

I’ve seen Miss Kittin get some stick on here, but her ‘Radio Caroline vol. 1’ and ‘Electroclash’ CD for Muzik mag are both really excellent.
Never saw her live though.
Love threads like these. Everyone gets coaxed into a false sense of security and lets their guard down whilst secretly notes are being made on the spreadsheet behind the scenes
Looking through my CDs I realise I’ve not one trance cd. Phew.
I enjoyed Tranceport back in its day. Dunno if that’s looked upon very fondly.
jonattonyeah I think its more a question of whether you still like it.
Yeah I guess I do. Haven’t put it on in probably 20 years but that Sasha mix of Gus Gus is good, always had a spot for Greece 2000…I suppose I still do like it even if it’s of its time. You all had a regular dose of Trance. We didn’t have much of that here, so it was different.

jonattonyeah the one Oakenfold cd that always gets an annual run out is his Goa mix. Still pops and makes me wish I heard him play it in Goa
I’ve got a load of Reactivate CDs - fucking loved them back in the day. Club 414 in Coldharbour Lane used to me a haunt of mine for quite a bit.
sigh
bosstrabs I’ve met her, she’s horrible
I listened to that free with Mixmag Trance and Bass CD more than is generally recommended. I never sought out anything else in that particular genre as that was probably enough but I enjoyed it at the time.
Can’t say I’ve see anyone actually bash it per se (cue people bashing it), but because it was compiled by Pete Tong, and the fact I’ve never heard anyone (other than myself) talk about it on here, I’ll say: -
Ministry Of Sound - The Annual 2 (CD1)

Vague now and then mixed by TWA. What a night that was
