jonattonyeah The good food around here is just regional versions of other’s food - Mexican, Korean, et cetera. One thing nobody can get right is Indian. I’m sure the high end places are good and I’d bet there are some spots in the South Bay/SV given the large Indian tech population, but not great around here for a solid takeout spot. I mean, it’s fine - edible - but nothing to write home about.
bosstrabs jonattonyeah I mean, it’s fine - edible - but nothing to write home about. Why would you write home about it? Are you Indian? Jonathan Brownwater of Uttar Pradesh.
jonattonyeah BlainSA Yeah it’s bad by frankly any comparison. Which I guess just means it’s bad. I’ll also take back my thought that maybe Silicon Valley has good Indian. Not a chance. Too expensive. No chance of staffing. Why bother even trying.
seanc80 Smallman1 India itself missing out on top spot with Ed there. Pipped to post by the likes of Bengaluru Bites across the road from the tube station

hugopal jonattonyeah I think it’s saying that they sedate their customers with noxious fumes? Plus it makes me want to eat a burger more than Indian food, even though I love Indian food.
rhouses It’s an old school biryani place over here in India with delicious, unique South style food, and you should consider yourself lucky you get to experience it in California. Agreed though, website is a trip. Lol.
jonattonyeah rhouses Not too far from here. I’ll try to give it a go. Does fit in with my thought that SV will have good indian. I just don’t ever go down that way as it’s immensely boring.
Millsy rhouses Ed and the tranz team are behind that one. Sold it in as ‘bleeding edge ecommerce customer journeys’ and then went to the pub.
