        Reminds me of the time I was travelling down to Auroville on the train roof with Rhouses and Shilpa Shetty to see Rhouses cousin.

        Anyway, we stumbled into the crossfire of a local gang war as we tried to leave the station. The local chapters of the Bloods and the Crips were engaged in a firefight over who controls the local Untouchables, who are paid to get rid of giant logs from the sewer system. There was no way past, and we were due at a Japanese-Bombay fusion restaurant in half an hour.

        I stormed into the middle of the gunfight and said “Hey my niggas, Dave Rudetrabs says squash the beef”. Everyone looked at my boss pastelwear and started throwing their boring red and blue gang colours to the ground. Then they hugged as they picked out lilac, salmon pink and turquoise gear from the Uniqlo web site. Everyone cheered.

        Rhouses said “That’s my man Dave”, patted Shetty on the fanny and whispered “Kabaddi!” in her ear.
