11 Wickets have fallen for 100 runs. On the second day of a Test Match. Not right. Bonkers.
Bonkers!
My brother sold me out to my folks because I was the golden child and kept it on the low down. Didn’t really get the bollocking from them as a result.
Although for my 21st I had a party at home and my brother gave my old dear half a cheeky. I was more shocked and disappointed if the truth be told!

One of my great [clubbing] disappointments is not seeing/hearing nearly enough of Wevvers live.
That was probably Thackers. He’d just walk out around the front and straight back into the club.
vinnyt77 I think our batters missed a trick in that there’s tried to intimidate and dominate our spinners from the outset every time. Had Rohit gone early on Day One it would have been a closer affair and that set the stall for the rest of the match. We were behind the curve from then on in as India had runs to play with much like we did in the first test.
The difference being the pitch was turning from day one of this test, whilst the first test was pretty much a perfect test wicket as it had a bit for all disciplines all through five days of the match. Especially when you look at the likes of Ishant and Anderson in the back end of all the innings’.
If Thackers can get chucked out of Fabric three times in one night and still see it through till closing time. Ed’s got no chance.
Along_the_Wire Fake ID cards aplenty to get in.
Martin Clunes has the face for ol’ gurners. Just as Men Behaving Badly was about to hit the screens he was a bit part actor so he was known but not yet massive. Anyways, I’m at Spirit at the old SW1 Club (which went on to become London’s Pacha) for a bit of pre cheese Judge Jules, Harvey, Roy the Roach etc. It was the days where you’d have 4 different types of DJ on the same bill.
Anyway, I shared my bottle of water (as you did back then), and a rave conversation), with a dribbling wreck that was Martin Clunes. Great story, fun times.
alistair Feel for you man and its an understandable frustration as you have to manage the emotions of the other half and all the questions revolve around why?
My other half hasn’t seen her mum in almost two years now and during the earlier days, she was extremely anxious about when she would get back to see her. Especially seeing as she somehow contracted Glandular Fever! The wife is now at the stage where we’ll only go to the US once the numbers start to stabilise and hopefully, the vaccine has bought a decent amount of time in the interim.
Along_the_Wire like most MIL it probably ain’t going to stop her from fucking moaning.

But, so are thousands of NHS Doctors and Nurses having to put in fucking shifts to save peoples lives. Oh, and also you’re MIL probably has a greater chance of catching Covid in Hospital so an extra 6 months in pain is worth a lifetime when you could possibly die because she demands her op now.
HG, one of my Bermuda colleagues piggy-backed my listen of your mix. You got a good thumbs up from him.
Loved the first half-hour of the third hour. Some cracking analogue sounding tracks.
Good mix overall.
During Lockdown 1 my eldest throw up next to me whilst I was on video call with two clients. Certainly broke the ice that one as I hurried made my excuses “Sorry, my son has just barfed” etc. So much so that during Lockdown 2 one of them recalled the event yet said it wasnt the worst thing he’d had happen during a video call.
