Some highlights from Saturday at Hidden Heights Creative Studio. It was a heatwave so actually managed to bring the Cyprus vibes…
This was recorded live at Flow on 28th June (hottest night on earth!!) with a real audience of electronic music lovers who consistently support independent club events up here - some coming from further afield for the first time.
Found it challenging being responsible for video as well as an event performance - but worth it - happy we have some memories to keep. Going to recruit some helping hands for the next video rig.

Hursty Slightly at the cheesier end of prog, but they kept the bpms down from the 140 everyone was playing. Great way to see the sun going down. Enjoyable.

Took me 8 hours to get home - absolute nightmare, three hours in the car park and then traffics on the Everbody Needs (the) A303
A brilliant Glastonbury - felt less busy than last year. Fucking hot. Still a lot of scousers there - most of them were sat on the floor with half inflated balloons in their mouths

Took a load of Mushrooms just before the end of Rod in readiness for The Orb at Glade and legged it over and was really coming up as I got there - never seen them before, but fuck me, the combination of the mushrooms, the visuals and the music was sensational - the best audio/visual experience I’ve ever had
Hursty The sauna seems like a mistake you make exactly once haha. I think I’m with you on the shorter distances too. 50k is raceable, the recovery isn’t bad, and the training is manageable. Beyond that and it really starts to become a full time job for me with all of the recovery work on top of actual running.
Got a lovely bottle of English Rosé in the fridge as we speak Hursty.
Will have my first glass around 5pm as I’m tranzing some biz today.
Its an idea me and Grant have discussed, but we may pair up with another promoter in the future to secure both spaces at the H&G…..make it an earlier start / later finish and go full on festival of prog ! Breaks upstairs…a few more headliners ….. lots of possibilities and scope.
