Homegrove good to know. I had a chat with a DJ a while back who explained that he finds 3 or 4 tracks that really work together and treats them like a mini set , he then focuses on piecing together those mini sets into longer parts - bit like a jigsaw I suppose.
I myself try to avoid too much planning, but got a way to go yet. I’d say on half the times I try a transition for the first time, it won’t quite work….but when it does work its a great feeling!
