I’m waiting to see what the great British Weather is like first. A 6′000 capacity event isn’t going to sell out anytime soon.

I’m more interested to see who else is playing. 3 stages for 10 hours, there has to be a lot more acts to be added. I don’t imagine Sasha and Digweed will play for more than 4 hours.

I’m not even sure what he’s doing. He has two laptops on the go, the one one the left is in arrangement mode, which suggests he’s playing a ‘pre-recorded’ bit in his set (could be messing around with one of his tracks to be fair). He reboots the one on the right half way through this vid.

And of course plays For an Angel. I’d give it a miss.

Wally I’d avoid. New trance is just wank. If you want to hear good trance you should have gone to see a techno DJ two years ago. Now it’s too late with the latest trend in techno being pretty much straight up gabber.

Paul van Dyk is appalling. He went through a brief period of being good, however his sets are completely incoherent. There is a great chapter on Paul van Dyk in Dave Haslam’s Adventures on the Wheels of Steel book and he pretty much said the same thing.

His best moment was this, it has been downhill since then.
