  • What events/gigs have you bought tickets for?

Wally I’m going to be London gig, I’ve always been a big fan of Unkle. Should be decent

Along_the_Wire Been listening to it this morning and it sounds alright tbf. Will see how I feel after S&D this Friday I guess 👍🏻

Didn’t realise Paddy Baumel is at Joshua Brookes for a day party two weeks today. Could be up for that.

Yep, hoping these parties start to draw a regular crowd.

I’m away that weekend so can’t make it - even better for you!

Mad_Cyril Now now Cyril, would love to be at the coalface with a board lege such as yourself 👍🏻

…was in Glasgow for the Soundgarden last night at Skyline. Cracking venue and the package deal for the room + event is excellent value.

Thought the music was pretty good actually, toughest set I’ve hear from Nick for a while… Simon Vuarambon was a highlight too.

Unbroken1 Keep meaning to go but it being a Sunday is off putting. Simon V was on at the prog lab in Bristol on Saturday. Seemed to be banging out the Argentinian power prog from the vids.

Wally …a good excuse to book the Monday off IMO.
Caught up with quite a few folks I haven’t seen in a while and wasn’t expecting to be up there.

Thought Simon V wasn’t so much power prog- kinda had quite a housey edge which differentiated him from the rest of the line-up, played a lot of his own stuff which I generally like.

I’m going to the Danny Howells one in January, return flights were only £75 from Bristol. I did it for Sasha & Digweed (SG3) last year and Danny Howells at Skyline this year, I had to book the Monday off work, but it was worth it.

Off to ADE on Fri. Thankfully not got tickets for what is now Guy J at Bedrock. Seen both him and that Stelios fella play the same event in past years and wanted to start eating my glass to make them stop.

Smallman1 is that the venue lots of bands play for small scale gigs? Kingston area?

Wally Went to this. Tbf, pretty decent and I’m glad I made the effort. I’d say go check them out. I reckon it was 50/50 ronin stuff vs back catalogue stuff and they dropped the heavy hitters.

RichM is that the venue lots of bands play for small scale gigs? Kingston area?

                  It is.
