ALFOS was fucking boss. Last two tunes were awful mind. Unashamedly did Yeke Yeke, which was amazing and some Talking Heads mash up - tunes gallore in the mean time.
Along_the_Wire Envious, mate!
Along_the_Wire I love the fact SJ shamelessly played Yeke Yeke. Now had that been Warren…
I love it to be honest, but mostly from memories back in the day
hugopal … London / Imperial
Anyone know where Benson went to university?
Along_the_Wire …were the Northern Soul Rave Patrol bods front a center larking it up ?
IndustryStandard They were!
On way home from the Unkle gig at Outernet. DJ Krush was brilliant, never seen him before. Played a load of obscure trippy stuff and then second half a load of classic trip hop. Play all his scratching and tricks he does.
Unkle were hit and miss, wasn’t really a live set as only 2 of them and couldn’t really tell what they were actually doing. James Lavelle kept stepping back and sort of dancing with has arms stretched out, a bit odd. It was more of a club set then original Unkle material. Some decent and some ok. Played a few classic just in a different style
They did a version of unfinished symphony (ok) and Touch Me (shit).
Outernet feels like it would be decent for a S&D gig, soundsystem and visuals are decent
Unfinished Sympathy, or Unfinished Symphony?
Dry-Tinder sympathy. Had a couple of beers last night, so spelling wasn’t the sharpest!!
I though that it was called Unfinished Symphony for years
Lee Burridge at Fabric on the 16th Nov cancelled? Just got sent a refund for it - couldn’t go anyways but anyone know why?
They’d only sold 19 tickets apparently.
Lol!
Busted!
