I think outside of Bedrock (venue depending), I’m done with seeing S&D this year (after just shy of 30 years since I saw Diggers for the first time) - Think I’d rather use my coalface tokens to see lesser known but top drawer DJs - better crowds and more fun for the most part.
The club doesn’t even sell alcohol, I would have left early unless someone was handing out some serious quality drugs on the way in.
Remember iDigweed not knowing Stereo didn’t sell booze and flew to Montreal to see Digweed there.

Always wanted to go to Stereo to see one of Johns big long sets but 4am start and no booze? No chance lol.
I went to Tenaglia at ARC in NY in 2003 and had a similar experience. I left after 2 hours. Sad as is sounds K and Creamer, at Lime Light the following night was a lot more memorable.
No industrial strength Persians available in ARC?
No, the place was paranoia central. That was the last time that I ever traveled without my Percy.

Hursty I think they go to bed, then get up and go out at 4 am. I think that if went to Stereo, I wouldn’t turn up till 7 am, who wants to hear 3 hours of warm up.
I don’t think that I would want to spend more than 9 hours in a club, unless it was like the old Space in Ibiza, where you had an outside area, and you could leave and come back.

Are these stereo clubbers still going out the night before, waiting for stereo to open at 4am then continue into the afternoon?
I think that they originally started as an after-club which gained success and people were more interested in going there than the nightclubs. Probably a bit like Sundissential in Birmingham. Sundissential started a Sunday afters, with some great lineups. Deep Dish, Carl Cox, and they even had Tyrant with Sasha, Burridge and Richards. Sundissential went to Saturday nights and that was the end. For a few weeks it was ok, I went and they had Lee Burridge, Tall Paul and Lisa Lashes, within a few months it was only Hard House. The guy running it (Madders) was a total bellend, I hope that he cashed out before it crashed. If Stereo can still make a profit without a liquor license it may be a better option.
