Dry-Tinder I do wonder whether that’s right. How many new fans have Sasha and Digweed picked up in the past few years. Not so many I dare say. It’s not like it looks like a crowd of clubbing ingenues. Those are well known tracks to any casual Sasha fan.
What events/gigs have you bought tickets for?
They have picked up a few, most of the people that I was with were under 35. I think if you call recall a track because you heard it when it was released it’s resonates with you more and evokes memories If you became a fan in the last 20 years, you probably listened to it a few times, thought that it was great and moved on to the next one, it certainly wouldn’t resonate in the same way than with someone that played it at loads of after parties in the 90s. Digweed finished a set a few years ago with Paul Rutherford - Get Real and I think that I was the only person that recognised it.
I was at an Old School night (Altern 8) 2 weeks ago, which was full of people over 50 and Perfect Motion and For Whatt You Dream of got dropped and the place went nuts.

Sasha and Digweed are in Dublin on 3rd of May. I can fly in and out for £44. I’ve already got a ticket for Tenaglia in Manchester the following day with a £120 train fare. I’m tempted to bin off Tenaglia, but I have seen Sasha and Digweed loads recently, so Tenaglia might be the better option.

The Doves last night were absolutely magnificent - did a tremendous version of Space Face - only seen them do that a couple of times. I was absolutely cunted.

Saw them last week in Manchester. Thought they we’re magnificent too. Was a little worried how they’d sound without Jimi but Jez handled vocals really well. Andy though should pack in the singing imo.
