RichM …get what you mean, seemed v weird at first to have the main stage funnelled into the corner with walls either side- kinda the opposite of an ‘open’ festival-type stage, but the significant trade-off is the sound, both the quality in the venue itself, and I imagine in containing it from outside.
Didn’t think the venue was completely shit, quite an interesting space, definite flaws with the set-up though, could have had a much better covered/seating area instead of a handful of picnic tables next to the food stalls, bars were poor and toilets woefully inadequate- they could have fitted 8 more urinals in there and it would have totally alleviated the queues.
