Flying to Glasgow on Sunday for a Skyline event - Anthony Pappa, Jamie Stevens and Pole Folder on the roof of a Radisson hotel. Had an email this week to say special guest ‘Super progressive’ has been added to the roster.

Interested to hear about those Skyline events. How popular they are / attendance etc. Noticed the tickets are £30, which is a bit lumpy for a regional event. The costs must be pretty high to secure 3 name DJs with transport up to Glasgow (presume none live local) and accomodation ( even with the Radisson discount) . Venue and setup looks nice, with production and PA/monitoring pretty upscale.

….unless The Radisson eats some of the costs as part of their ents budget. Wouldn’t mind a beano up there to check one out.

IndustryStandard my ticket was £160 and that includes 2 x tickets to the event, a twin room at the hotel and 2 x breakfasts. So £80 per person for a day event, a bed for the night and some food in the morning - didnt think that was bad, and I have always wanted to see Pappa live

The first time that I went, the party started at 2, but they wouldn’t let us check in until 4. Early check in was another £80, I had to drag my case around for two hours. Hopefully they have sorted that now.

gcw ….seems like if you make a weekender of it you get a better deal. Makes me think the hotel must me helping out/subsidizing to a degree. A ticket off the bat on the usual sites is close to £30.

@Dry-Tinder what was the actual event like when you went? Busy? Locals or people going up for a weekender?
