IndustryStandard Smallman1 Fuck knows…probably . Was sprouting non stop codswallop for about 20mins. Surprised both of them didn’t lamp me
IndustryStandard baggers44 …..i thought Digweeds first couple of hours were superb . Proper NY dubby chuggers. Club reminded me of a stripped down version os Cielo in NY, what with the mirror ball in the middle. Lighting was amazing in there
Smallman1 Concur about Digweed’s start, big chunky tribal chuggers, didn’t recognise a single thing, love it when he plays like that.
RichM Sounds a good night all. Hopefully he puts up the first couple of hours in his show sometime as sounds like a decent start to the night
alistair Anyone else remember any tracks Diggers played? Remember Guy J and possibly the Kaspar remix of Damian Lazarus but nothing else
ScottBailey alistair saw a video of him playing some kind of edit of Kaspar’s remix of Change This Pain For Ecstasy. Don’t remember any tunes from last night, all sounded brand spanking new
benson Dry-Tinder I’ve got a picture of him on my facebook feed with Nic Muir, so he seems to have passed that test!
alistair ScottBailey My mind’s a blur but I recall Worlds Apart. I remember a track with the Big Fun stabs on it which sounded class and the electro vocal he started his set with (echoes of Depeche Mode). I did take a few videos on my phone which I would post on here if I knew how to.
CriticalElements-Marcus With the permission of Marcus I wanted to post about an event coming up in Shoreditch. After a very successful first gig we’re back on 1st November with the next Critical Elements label night at Basing House (very close to Horse and Groom). This is time we welcome Prognosis and Capital Heaven who will be hosting a breaks room upstairs alongside the progressive downstairs. We had Moonface headline our first event in May and it was a huge success. This time we have Framewerk, Erik Bruce, Mista Twist, Bulldozer and Christian J playing alongside residents Marcus Stroud, Mike Bentley and Latex Zebra. The night promises a blend of many electronic and progressive styles taking you on our signature deep and atmospheric journey… and the perfect tonic for those looking for the Bedrock, Vapour and Meanwhile style sound in the capital. We’d love to have you on board https://ra.co/events/2238009?fbclid=IwdGRjcAM389NjbGNrAzfzzGV4dG4DYWVtAjExAAEeE8ckB1rFb8WHNmETAyOgYe0gizr4AGAOVb4fXXpgL3z8AW9qxYrFoPNMWPg_aem_aiROfnYbY4CtYNlHXpYgsQ
IndustryStandard CriticalElements-Marcus ….shame I cant make this one. Best of luck. @erik may need an AirBnB for the month of Nov in London with all his gigs…….darn site cheaper than the IOW ferry back and forth. Superb there are so many events/promoters doing things in the scene at the moment. This, Destination plus the SP thing at Bricks on Nov 8th to name but a few. Lovely stuff!!!
hugopal CriticalElements-Marcus Latex Zebra That’s not far off Anklepants for one of the worst names in dance music.
gcw Friend has secured tickets for Underworld at Brixton Academy in February which I’m looking forward to, always a good performance from them
