  • What events/gigs have you bought tickets for?

Cheers @Millsy and @Mad_Cyril - yeah, agree with you both. Chris is so driven (met him in person for the 1st time yesterday) and the venue he’s got lined up for this Sea Fever album launch gig on 30th May (deffo going to that one) - looks incredible! Sprechen’s event plans feel really grassroots and ambitious simultaneously. It’s really heartening to have that on the scene imo.

Mad_Cyril oh, and I meant to say, I hope all goes well with your op when the time comes. Hopefully you can make the next Sprechen event 🙂

CindyLouWho Chris is top bloke and was the driving force behind the Electric Elephant Festival and helped run Paper music. Underrated dj.

        What happened to Paper music?

        Fairly sure it folded.

        Someone send me an invite.

Half a lol and a wahey! for that one, Smalls

Give him a seat next to Hugo…

Dan oh really? I didn’t realise that was part of Chris’s story. Yeah, he seems like a top bloke and not only is he so easy to chat with but his set yesterday was really great and he’s clearly so passionate about creating fantastic music events. Kudos to him!

Mad_Cyril this sounds very cool. I’m imagining this being like a Berlioz gig with 10x the intensity. Sounds like a great gig!

Sean Johnston and I were chatting earlier today and he was telling me about his gig in Tokyo next week, which sounded super cool! Our conversation got me wondering what the furthest distance us on the board have ever travelled to a rave and was it worth the journey?

Mine was Romania and yes, it was definitely worth the effort.

Curious to hear about other people’s most epic distances travelled to go raving…

Sasha and Digweed in Dublin tomorrow. I should be back home in the UK by 8 AM too.
