CindyLouWho sounds great. Who was playing?
What events/gigs have you bought tickets for?
Millsy it was Ghost Assembly, Chris Massey (from Sprechen), Tom Sharkett and Sean Johnston (from A Love From Outer Space).
Sounds like a cracker!
Smallman1 it was indeed. First time I’ve been to a Sprechen event. Was impressed, though. They’ve told me their next event is on 30th May at The Yard in Manchester for the Sea Fever album launch so I’m probably going to try and get to that.
Some decent tackle on Sprechen.

Good stuff, nice to hear it.
Op being delayed put paid to my chances of going, but was a lovely day yesterday so glad it worked out well.
Also good to see local music scene doing well, Chris has been bubbling for a while.
Cheers @Millsy and @Mad_Cyril - yeah, agree with you both. Chris is so driven (met him in person for the 1st time yesterday) and the venue he’s got lined up for this Sea Fever album launch gig on 30th May (deffo going to that one) - looks incredible! Sprechen’s event plans feel really grassroots and ambitious simultaneously. It’s really heartening to have that on the scene imo.

Mad_Cyril oh, and I meant to say, I hope all goes well with your op when the time comes. Hopefully you can make the next Sprechen event
CindyLouWho Possibility, where’s it @?
CindyLouWho Chris is top bloke and was the driving force behind the Electric Elephant Festival and helped run Paper music. Underrated dj.
What happened to Paper music?
Fairly sure it folded.
Someone send me an invite.
Half a lol and a wahey! for that one, Smalls
Give him a seat next to Hugo…
Mad_Cyril The Yard, Manchester.
Smallman1 ngl that was actually funny. Thanks for making me smile
Dan oh really? I didn’t realise that was part of Chris’s story. Yeah, he seems like a top bloke and not only is he so easy to chat with but his set yesterday was really great and he’s clearly so passionate about creating fantastic music events. Kudos to him!

Mad_Cyril this sounds very cool. I’m imagining this being like a Berlioz gig with 10x the intensity. Sounds like a great gig!
Diggers in Brighton - 3rd October
Early one, like Sasha. Tickets go on pre-sale tomorrow.
