What events/gigs have you bought tickets for?

I loved Skyline and will proper miss it - the venue was class and it always felt like an exclusive party.

Heading back up for the Guy J, Alex O’Rion, GMJ & Matter et al party next month. It’s at Bridge Gardens, which I can’t imagine being comparable in terms of venue but like you say, the regulars are so friendly and always make it a fun vibe so it’s pretty much nailed on I’ll have a great time.

Recently completed a tribute mix titled ‘This Was Skyline’ featuring tracks I’ve heard in that building over the years - I’ll stick it in the random mixes thread

No idea. I did mildly harass Sasha in Guernsey on Sat though. I said hello in the morning as he was on my flight over - then on the post gig boat back from Herm dribbled into his ear with my arm round his shoulders. He was a good sport (I think…). Had a great time, would do again.

It was fucking brilliant. I went over for the day. They played for 2 hours 30 minutes, I only recognised Water From The Vine Leaf, which sounded immense on that sound system. I would do that again over 528 any day. I’m pretty sure Sasha’s mrs also on the dance floor. Where I was it was a really mixed crowd, loads more Spaniards and Italians that you don’t usually get at a Sasha and Digweed gig. Loads more women too. Carl Cox came on, did his ‘oh yes, oh yes’ and put on Energy Flash, so I left the dancefloor in an attempt to spend my drinks package before I left. I checked out some of the rooms for an hour or so. I left around 5 am because I didn’t want to get caught in a 6 am taxis queue and miss my flight. There were some fucking states in the airport and on my flight. I checked my bank balance when I landed, £700 in 22 hours. I enjoyed it.

Went to see Holy Holy, Bowie ‘tribute/cover’ band with Tony Visconti and Woody Woodmansey at the Shepherds Bush Empire last night. Really good gig, songs from every era of his catalogue. Was definitely one of the youngest there - and I’m an old cunt at 53!

Was great all round, though I’ve been going since 96, and finding it harder every time I go back as so much changes.

I have a love/hate thing going on with Pacha. So much space is given over to vip/balcony/thicket upgrades, but still a good night out when the crowds clear off.

Akasha for Sven Vath was bloody brilliant as always. Great space, sound system is ace, not too busy, staff happy to let you get absolutely wrecked without much interference.

528 and Pikes were as fun as ever.

Drugs were bang on.

Oh, and the fish shack is still a great place dinner.
