Just saw chemical brothers, they are definitely a crowd pleaser for a broader audience, but chemical beats is always brilliant live. I do hate the O2 as a venue

Chems were great . Visuals superb and a massive crowd. pleasantly surprised with how many people were there going potty . Plus lots of birds . O2 sound was poor , but such a cavernous space. Top night .
IndustryStandard did they play any track for more than two/three minutes max? That was my bugbear when I saw them last
alistair it was all programmed / mixed with the visuals but i’d say the tracks didn’t seem overtly short . It was a sensory overload at times . Seems like they are the E generation equivalent of Pink Floyd the way their gigs are setup
alistair I saw them Friday and I know what you mean….some tracks left longer than others and can feel a bit Jive Bunny Mega Mix at times but I had a blast, proper go mental atmosphere
Has anyone seen The Orb live - any cop? They are on here in Leeds on Saturday and I’m tempted to toddle down. Ta.
Wally I saw them at the Royal Albert Hall in 1998 and they were brilliant, although the acid probably helped.
Wally They played essentially live almost the whole evening at Glastonbury in 2017 at the Glade, which we dipped in and out of - the same evening as the Bedrock night in the Spaceport next door. They played the whole of Adventures in the Ultraworld at one point - but it was mega loose interpretations, which is fair enough.
