Wally As far as atmospheres go it was incredible, fairly small space for them, boiling inside and the whole place was going mental after being whipped up by DJ playing D&B beforehand. People collapsing and being hauled out all over the place.
Didn’t miss Keith as much as I thought…a Welsh lad asked me after what I thought it was like without him. I said didn’t really notice…..thought he was going to cry. Maxim has always been pretty vocal and he took over full duties.They did a tribute during an instrumental Firestarter where they left stage and had lasers of him dancing on the stage which was good.
Was just disappointed with the set list….most of the biggies and shit ones from the last couple.of albums. Would have a loved a Hyperspeed or Full Thottle..all very safe. Never liked Their Law but it seems to be massive for them, always played.I
Glad I went in the end though. Going to be an inferno in Newcastle tomorrow.
