Yeah but that doesnt give the story that is on the facebook page. All about the back story

Iconic photo indeed but the doctored ones are far better.

No worries. It would do the same if I posted the link.

The little lighting guy over Sasha’s shoulder used to smoke huge blunts, you could stand in that little corner beside the box and get high off his smoke

Anyone fancy sharing a full 2 hr of 071- the studio mix?

benson totally agree…. the doctored one from A Night with Sasha was brilliant

Wasily Any help with a few ID’s would be great. I’m partially deaf atm. 😅 😢

SM001 Spit some coffee when hearing him mention that among tracks featured.

        SM001 Don’t thank him yet. There’s a Skrillex track on there. 😆

This sort of shit doesn’t even come as a surprise nowadays. He should just pack it in if this is the garbage he’s happy to churn out.

Smokemonk I’m a Select Subscriber. Bit of a lengthy process as far as how I provide my PW credentials to a scraping tool via terminal (if you care to know more the PMs are open). I’m surprised, can verify that my properties of the file is .M4A and (worse than your report of 64. . .) 63 KBPS.

EDIT: If you have a recommendation as to how to measure the Bit rate of the root file source (Mixcloud.com) . . . let me know. I’d assume that a subscriber should get better quality than 63 and am unsure if it is my program’s bottleneck.
Not the program that I use but here is an old thread explaining the errors that others have experienced [https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=69109]

segwin Clearly they’ve changed the algorithm? if you have a choice of a Jdownload of 63 kbps m4a or a 320 kbps stream it makes sense using something like audiohijack to rip the stream vs direct DL of the file off Mixcloud? Am I being too simplistic here?

I think it sounds good. And I’m playing it with speakers at home. 🤷‍♂️

It’s clearly not a studio mix though in the technical sense…the mixing is atrocious ☹️

Had a shaky start in his Lab London set though I am in no place to nit-pick.

          SM001

I don’t understand the problem with this.
He’s been active since 2004 and has obviously learnt a thing or two since his brostep days, as well as making some friends in high places.
If the track was called Unknown - White Label it would just be a vocal edit of something and wouldn’t get the hate. I think he’s pretty bold for sticking his actual name on the release, knowing he will undoubtedly get backlash from haters.
New pseudonym of Jrillax or something and woosh, hot new producer linked up with 4tet

I’ve heard far worse posted by Alistair on here tbf
