MAW
I wouldn’t say they weren’t friendly, just that it was very like urban upscale, if they makes sense.

Back to the tougher MAW stuff. Do like this
I remember they played Wink’s Hows The Music? At the one party. That had me absolutely elated.
jonattonyeah Roni Size
Speaking of, MAW did a remix package of Dj Krust, of Roni Size fame, this past fall that was crazy good. My wife got me the record for my birthday. Very good dub vibes.
That’s a good album. They really had a something going for a while there between Krust, Size, and Die.
nicksneddon that never forget track is wicked
There was a Crosstown Rebel mix of theirs recently which I enjoyed.

Such a cool groove. Dope’s drums are the best
Both of them do admirable jobs with what already is a great track.
Close the thread!
zackster I was hoping to go to NY this year and drop in on the Expansions night he does midweek, maybe not now though
Very surprised not to see this….
Belter
- Edited
No Kenny Dope, but it’s a belter from Louie, India and some bloke called Mo.
Dan even played in old hardcore sets
India’s voice on a huge soundsystem carries like little else.
This is a beauty
Louie’s latest lockdown is a MAW special
zackster have you heard his remixes of Body by MAW? 2 of the best things he’s done imo
I have indeed. I have the 12s with his and Todd Terry’s mixes on them. One of the few MAW 12s I own.
i feel like this thread is going to send me down a proper rabbit hole for the next couple of days.
