Having only started watching this for the first time in the last 6 months, i am now embarrassed to say i didn’t see any of it when it was first out.

Fuck putting this in with the wishy washy shite that gets talked about in the other thread.

Can someone point me in the direction of a better tv series, in the history of TV? As each episode passed, getting one closer to the end, i got a little bit more emotional.

Absolutely unbelievable series. Big jamesy G played the part like he was born for it.

The fucking characters, how do you choose between paulie, sil, chris, ralf, jonny sac, phil, etc?

    Phenomenal television!

I envy you. It is an absolute work of art.

Still haven’t seen it yet. It’s not on any steaming sites I belong to and I don’t own a dvd player.

My thoughts on The Sopranos are well documented. Peerless and paved the way for other series centring on an anti hero.

-si- It goes without saying The Sopranos is one of the best TV shows ever made.

The Wire is easily in my Top 3.

Twin Peaks: The Return is just absolutely lush visually, and unnerving. Watch this clip - it will either grab you immediately or turn you off…

Breaking Bad, seasons 1-3, although I thought it went a bit shit after that, and I really started to dislike both Walter White (and his fucking awful wife) and Jesse Pinkman. Better Call Saul is also good.

Some meff will now say something like Line of Duty and we will all laugh at our screens.

love the sopranos, but it’s behind both oz and six feet under for me. six feet under had the best series finally of any show i’ve ever seen. the wire had one season that wasn’t great, but it’s way up there too.

bosstrabs Twin Peaks: The Return is just absolutely lush visually, and unnerving. Watch this clip - it will either grab you immediately or turn you off…

Am rererewatching as we speak. You just don’t get stuff like this anymore. Completely uncompromising vision straight from the mind of a true artist.

Good shout on Chernobyl. Brilliant series.

Trailer park boys. Just because it’s so stupid it Still makes me laugh.

Millsy you’d be wrong. oz was the pioneering hbo series, nothing like it had been done before. six feet under is probably more subjective, but it was so good.

@-si- curious to hear who your fav character was. I struggle to think of a more character rich show. Ralph was my personal.
