The Climate Change Thread
Interesting, I’m guessing next stop is labelling flying as far right?
vinnyt77 Val D for me as well. Train to Bourg and then bus up the hill. Only thing is to get the bus we are getting an early eurostar so need to stay in London the night before. Geneva airport was hell on earth last year and the transfer back from Val after a skinful was awful. Let the train take the strain and despite my environemntal crecentials being in tatters, it will have the bonus of a better outcome for mother earth, assuming we have not been nuked by Putin
Remember flying to Leeds a few years ago to go to the Yorkshire Dales.
Was about £100 cheaper than getting the rattler.
Was a great trip, are some unbelievable food!
Interestingly, there are no direct flights from any London airport to Leeds.
I wonder if Smallman flew via Amsterdam. Or maybe via SPIKE ISLAND.
Dave clearly missed the “a few years ago” part.
The daft idiot.
Lads, I’ve just checked and it was Manchester we flew into and not Leeds.
More lies I hear you say?!
The question is how did inter UK flights between major cities become a thing? If it was faster, cheaper, better by train then there would be no market for it to succeed
