The best part of Cancun is Isla Mujeres, a short ferry and a world away. At least it was back in 2006.

After that head down south along the coast to Punta Allen for the best Mangos know to man (Not a euphemism) and get away from all those uncouth Yanks up the road.

Sir David Attenborough is championing a bid by conservationists to raise £30 million to secure a historic upland estate for nature purposes.

The Wildlife Trusts and Northumberland Wildlife Trust are attempting to complete the purchase of the Rothbury Estate, a 15-square-mile tract of former grouse moor, woodland, farmland, streams and rivers, with plans to boost wildlife, restore bogs and champion nature-friendly farming.

RichM South America is on my wish list, apparently Costa Rica is one of the best places to visit.

Hursty I’ve never done South America, so on my list at some stage. The thing with Mexico is that it’s tonnes cheaper for last min flights and hotels for a bit of winter sun.
