Environmental issues will not be straight forward, just like big pharma there is people set to gain a lot from it and there will be corruption.

We will end up mining the fuck out of developing countries for lithium now due to the shortage, that’s all good eh so we can drive our electric cars yet would we want this mining near our homes no fucking chance, nearly impossible to get a gold mine past in the UK.

    Funky I think so much of it will become moot. If we get a few warm winters back to back, we’ll have all manner of crop collapses… that’ll usher in a world of looting, marshal law etc. so I think governments clinging on to power will possibly start telling companies to fuck off at that point. My assumption here is that revolutionary mobs at their gates will dictate their behaviour, but I could be wrong, they maybe psychopathic enough to just carry on until the mob gets them.

    We’ll be killing each other for scraps long before we are under water.

                      Think the next thing will be car prices going mental. If you have a diesel or petrol car now, sell it in the next year or two or drive it until it falls apart, because it won’t be worth fuck all in about four or five years time, there just won’t be any demand for them. I appreciate that time scale might be dictated to by availability of electric cars and charger convenience, but I think that availability is only gonna get better and better and the charger situation will fall into place easily, a few different tipping points there, but you get the gist.
