The Climate Change Thread
All I know as that it hit 34/94 here yesterday. In fucking April. And supposed to rain on Monday. We’re doomed. A well earned dooming as well.
I’ve a mate who’s still convinced it’s all a scam. That man has nothing to do with it. Its all a political tax grab. His reasoning -
- Twitter controls the journalists
- Journalists control the narrative
- The narrative controls the people
I love the guy but he’s an incredibly annoying and naive cunt.

Sounds great, no doubt it will never get the investment it deserves from the bean counters

The problem is that the situation is being exploited to drive profits at the cost of the plebs. When you consider 25% of your energy bills in yhe UK is a green tax, you know full well that fuck all of that will ever make it to it’s intended purpose. Meanwhile the energy and oil companies continue to benefit from massive tax relief.
Can’t wait for Boris’ nuclear plants to all come online in 15 years time. The cunt.
Should probably be in the book thread, but, if anyone needs any green inspiration, have a read of Dave Goulson - The Garden Jungle. I’ve probably banged on about it before, does more than the title suggests, very relaxed conversational style and full of good info. #nomomay #dontmowuntilmay
Mad_Cyril Correct, give yourself and the wildlife a break by not doing any gardening until the start of June. There will be a lot of stuff living and over wintering in the grass that will take to the wing by June, plus nothing likes a tidy garden except humans, so if you can leave the piles of leaves etc. all gods creatures will be a bit happier.
Better still, leave a good chunk of the grass growing until late summer, just cut it once a year, you’ll get some boss stuff in it then.
Amps likes to drink from the bushy bowl
Parakeets, squirrels, all sorts of birds (oo’er missus) and the ledgest of bants all to be found in my garden in Tooting.

Will save me a fortune on cat food
Just a reminder:
This thread proving that Brexity right wingers like Durgal, sorry, Funky really are thick as pigshit.
Elon Musk will do absolutely anything to maintain his market in China, so will undoubtedly bend over backwards to facilitate any demands to drive anybody off Twitter who they deem too problematic.
Musk is also heavily reliant on the green-conscious consumer for his business.
Two things that will drive his decisions, and the libertarian right will end up being more pissed off about than they are about the current Twitter owner. They just haven’t seen it yet.
@Funky GENUINELY THE THICKEST CUNT ON THE WHOLE BOARD.
