The NFL

I’m using this as the excuse for why my tendons are constantly on fire. Definitely not an age-related problem.

303abuser There’s a sub station about three miles from my house… that’s probably why I put weight on over Christmas 👍️

[deleted] I feel better already knowing it’s not my fault.

Tomlin gone from the ’burgh. Think it was just about the right decision and time for a new direction. Thanks for one of the craziest nights celebrating in 2009 though!

303abuser Can’t wait for rogers to crash and burn and the steelers finish around 500 again.

😂 Right on schedule.

ScottBailey That was a hell of Super Bowl

ScottBailey

Along_the_Wire it really was. Was at the Islington Academy watching it with a load of Pittsburgh expats too, so made for a mad night. Went in with t-shirts on and came out to a foot of snow!

This season is shaping to be a cracker - more open than any I can remember in recent years. Amazing win for the Commanders yesterday, BIlls and Chiefs both starting strongly, and the NFC looks unpredictable at best - with no team setting the world alight just yet. 49ers probably the best of the bunch, but the Rams, Seahawks Eagles all have issues to fix.

How are the Fort Lauderdale Knackers doing?

Along_the_Wire

vinnyt77 fuck me, how good was the Washington win?!

If the Raiders keep winning, I’m going to be unbearable for the next few months. 😂

Realistically, they’ll be coming back down to earth soon, I’m not even expecting to make the playoffs, but man is it nice to watch competent football for the first time in forever. Kubiak and Spytek are the best things to happen to this franchise in decades.

Loved watching the cowboys lose on a long field goal too. Hopefully that knocked a few months off Jerry Jones’ life.

Cracking game

I only saw the last throw and field goal when they cut over after the raiders win, but always happy to see things go badly for the cowboys. Drake Maye and Herbert looked like shit too, so good Sunday all around.

I was at the London game yesterday - the calls were so bad - we had two PIs not called and both would’ve resulted in TDs - disgraceful really. Colts got one penalty for 5 yards all game.

303abuser

The officiating in the nfl is so bad, there’s no way it’s not intentional at this point. I love that they told the rams that they got fucked by a bad call to lose to Denver, then promptly issued a statement to teams to remind them not to tell the public about these conversations.

I had that game on in the background, looked painful to watch for the most part. I’m as happy as I’ve been in a long time after a loss, the Raiders are a completely different team this year.

Along_the_Wire

What a fucking shit show yesterday was again. Refs were ruining the game before Daniels lost his fucking mind in the final seconds. Thicket Centrale

303abuser

Did he think they had a time out left? Inexplicable.

Raiders laid an egg yesterday, the refs were just the cherry on top. Over 20 accepted penalties, 200+ total yards. Destroyed the game with phantom interference calls while holding apparently doesn’t exist.
