The NBA at least pays lip service (and does a pretty good job of it). But I suppose that’s different in that people root for players in the NBA. There are as many fans of Lebron, Steph, and Harden as there are fans of teams. Player-driven league. Not like that in the NFL where it’s cheering for helmets irrespective of who’s wearing it.

But I’m honestly surprised how they’re just pushing through this season; everything else be damned. Niners are moving to Arizona ’cause Santa Clara, where they play, has banned all contact sports until at least the 21st of December. Instead of, damn, maybe we shouldn’t, it’s, fuck it, let’s just move. Insane.

Definitely take that last night even if the Steelers aren’t really playing like an 11-0 team - that goal-line stand in the first half was immense and defensively we were excellent (and a little lucky), but Smith in the second was terrific - shit running game keeping them honest. Steelers run game is non-existent - embarrassing.

I hope Gibson’s toe injury isn’t serious.

TankTop Steelers defence were very good, but we made some excellent adjustments as the game wore on and were excellent in the second half. Defensively they just couldn’t run on us (something like 24 yards on 13 carries) and they were predictable on offence - having said that, they dropped quite a few straightforward passes.

While I hope for the best, idk how anyone can be expected to play 4 quarters behind the Eagles O line. I hope Jalen can come away from the Saints game unscathed or he will assuredly be developing the same negative traits as Carson.
