Better 2nd half for England. I’m not sure we actually played better but rather the French defence intensity maybe dropped a notch allowing us to get a bit of a nose in at times. Beaten by a stronger side. Not much else to say

          Heno Head says New Zealand. Reports of their death have been greatly exaggerated IMO. I think it’ll be close - maybe 5-8 points in it.

          I think Jones has just about picked the right team for the game, bar the Farrell / Smith axis at 10/12. I’d have Slade in there for sure. Otherwise, it’s combative all over the park, back 3 is my preferred one for England, I like the inclusion of Van Poortvliet from the off, and the 6/⅞ combo looks well balanced.

              vinnyt77 bar Will Skelton I think we are better in every position,don’t like when we are favourites cause Australia have been good one week bad the next but I think we will have to much for them, rather they didn’t play Sexton in order to develop more depth at out halve

                      Heno Get used to it mate. You’re gonna be favourites in pretty much every game you play between now and the World Cup! Sat really uncomfortably with me in the lead up to the 2003 World Cup, and that ended up ok… 😉

                      Heno Yeah - wouldn’t have been disappointed if he’d gone after the 2019 World Cup. As it is, I think he’s the only option for the ’23 RWC, but hopefully then on his way.

                                baggers44 France look really good have a great mix of power and flair also any team with Shawn Edwards do be really well set up.
