You do realise, that what you’re saying is there’s a global conspiracy, by many nations working together, involving multitudes of military and civilian pilots, highly funded Task Forces going back to the 50s, with verifiable evidence of programs studying them, and all these facets are working together to play tricks on us? It’s all just after effects. I find that nuttier than the chances these objects are coming from somewhere else. That level of conspiracy makes no sense whatsoever. It’s up there with Flat Earth. In fact its definitely more ludicrous considering the sightings people I know have had.

LT42 I don’t know that they all have to be working together… I confess I haven’t been doing Hug-oh-no levels or research into the origin or outlet of every clip I have ever scene online, but, lets say person / group A wants to send message X for whatever reason, money, power, diversion, interest etc. and they can achieve that with some fairly ubiquitous software.

I try to look through most everything with the lens of scepticism; follow the money, who gains etc. Who are the authors? How well respected are they? What is the response of t he rest of the media? And I can’t vouch for the reason behind every clip, but, again. none of it smells like the real deal. Happy to be wrong. Would love to be wrong, especially if said aliens are a good bunch of lefties.

Dubman I’d love to give Mick West the time but he’s been embarrassing himself lately - telling experienced aviators what they’re seeing is a step too far into arrogance, there’s just no way he can be taken seriously.

He’s a former computer programmer who’s made a living out of being skeptical and writing ludicrous claims such as the camera pods on the F18 Super Hornets that tracked the ‘Gimbal’ and ‘Tic Tac’ needing updates or were tracking “birds”, and telling the Commander who saw them with his own eyes that he was seeing a reflection on the glass inside his cockpit. I don’t know who buys that kind of nonsense but he obviously has an audience.

Yeah the case is from 1990, the photo was released this passed August by a former RAF press officer and confirmed by MoD.

Dubman I read it at the time as it was referenced in a podcast I watched. Its fun to read but I will never take him seriously. If he was a former radar operator on the USS Nimitz, I probably would.

Dubman because its speculation on one photograph and Mick West and people who contribute to his theories are not in a position to professionally verify the evidence of these or other cases. It’s a bunch of people trying their best to do open heart surgery on a photograph. Some of it is hilarious and just shows the level people will go to in order to try and make sense of something. Those threads are the same for the official FLIR camera footage tracked by a squadron of F18s. There was around 8 pages given to the idea they were tracking a “seagull”, angles, apertures, pixelations, all convincingly written by people who’ve never been a fighter jet let alone understand how classified hardware operates. Some of the best pilots on the planet, flying sophisticated hardware with cutting edge tech, bamboozled by a seagull flying at warp speed.
That’s the beauty of the topic though, there seems to be a market for every Tom, Dick & Harry, including me. Long may it continue.

Personnel on the USS Russel and USS Nimitz have filmed objects whereupon the footage was released and confirmed genuine by the Pentagon through the FOI act, where otherwise that footage would be buried for decades (just like the Calvine case). I think people brush off the seriousness of that far too easily. The weight of evidence means you have to believe in the most outlandish conspiracy theories for it all to be a psy-ops program for reasons that are still not obvious. I’m skeptical about the motives of a lot of things Govt do but I’m just not that far gone and never will be. You have to draw the line somewhere. It’s ironic that taking it all as fact is actually anti-conspiracy. The latest one being the reason this is all out in the open is to distract people from the fact a train full of chemicals exploded in Ohio. 50 years of evidence compiled and verified so that CNN can take our minds off a natural disaster. I have friends who spend all day on Facebook talking about Chemtrails who wouldn’t even buy that level of batshit.
