zackster juvenile shite like this doesn’t help, Z. Yes, there’s a very serious safety threat to both commercial and military aviation. How many times do airports get shut down for breaches of airspace by idiots with drones? I dont know the answer but it happens alot.
Now imagine a space where airline pilots and military pilots are unable to report objects flying within 50feet (FAA approved safe airspace is 1000ft) of their aircraft because of the stigma involved and potential damage to their careers. There is no way to report, no centralised system. That’s what yesterday was about. The stigma needs to be replaced by genuine systems where these cases can be fully investigated. Forget little green men, which is what you and others seem to be fixated on. The objects are real, they put other aircraft in danger and nobody, including the FAA, is doing anything about it. The 2 pilots who testified yesterday were military aviators at the very top of their profession, Cmdr Fravor was the leader of the Black Aces amd was in the top 20 in rank for the whole pacific fleet. He chased the Tic Tac which was later filmed by another crew. These aren’t stereotypical witnesses. Lt.Graves and his crew witnessed their objects daily off Virginia Beach. Even Matt Gaetz claims to have seen footage and evidence that is classified.
So to believe this is all convoluted panto (involving multiple Countries, don’t conveniently forget this part) in order to “get more money” for the Pentagon, really is stretching the conspiracy envelope. There are a million more cost effective ways to do that without putting together a multi-decade, multi-national conspiracy. Be real at least.
