Mancini has turned them around since he took over.Can`t believe they were so overlooked. Stuck a 100 on them @ 13-1 before the start. Barella is turning out to be one of the best midfield players in the world. A lot of talk about him before he signed for Inter. Bonucci + Chiellini are absolute rocks.

I think Spain haven’t hit fifth gear yet except against Slovakia. Weak link is obviously Morata, though, not a dependable forward.

Jules72 I actually think Southgate was intelligent. Trippier and Shaw were masterstrokes in nullifying Germany’s wingers. Shaw was excellent all game going forward. Grealish as an impact sub was a good call too.

And I don’t give a shit about England. A football side for knuckle dragging Chelsea and Burnley fans.

bosstrabs he didn’t need to focus on blunting Germany’s attacks - given the talent in the team, we could have won comfortably against Germany focussing on playing good football. In any case, we haven’t played anyone decent yet (neither Germany nor Croatia are) - pretty sure we would fall short.

Was a cracking game alright. Italy deserved to win and yet Belgium probably had the better chances and should have taken at least one them.

Italy have a lovely mix of wee skilful guys and aggressive powerful guys. I could see the Rice-Phillips duet struggling to contain the likes of Verratti, Barella & Insigne but Sterling or Grealish might fancy themselves against their old lads at the back. Italy didn’t like Doku running at them much. I wonder if Rashford might be a good option. #insight

Still reckon Spain are dangerous and unpredictable enough to be a threat but Italy look decent value at 2-1 now. Can you imagine the reaction of England lose tonight somehow?! I hope they don’t, 2021 needs this epic final!!
