You’re preaching to the wrong crowd on here, even those who are passionately behind England on here likely can’t stand the neo-fascist/BNP element, or the lager lout crowd.

We’ve all been brought up, one way or another, in the house scene and the values of it. Even the vaguely right on here, like I suppose me and Alistair, are essentially moderate libertarians interested in personal freedom, rather than UKIP/BNP or Rees-Mogg supporting sorts.

I’m not bothered. I’ve long said I don’t give a shit about England and it would be hypocritical for me to join the England bandwagon now. 1 reason is no-one gives a shit about England in the north west - both Liverpool and United have plenty of beef with En-ger-lund for various reasons. Also, I’ve never even vaguely supported England RU.

I’m just pointing out that there aren’t any knuckle draggers on here. Most English people on here cringe as much as you do when they see sights like that.

What is actually wrong with people singing and having a drink or three and celebrating their national identity though? If it makes them feel good to belt out atomic kitten, Neil diamond and er Gala was it? then good on them I say. It sure beats seeing people breaking down while recounting tales of how they stood behind a screen watching their partners drawing their last breath. Or reading about the latest kid getting shanked or raped.

I think we need to give our fellow human beings a bit of a break here guys.
