second, the discussion with southgate doesn’t need to be binary. give him credit for getting the team as far as he did and let him take the criticism for what i thought was a really poorly managed game yesterday (the lack of early subs, not putting grealish on sooner, the penalty order was clueless). hopefully he learns from the experience, this is a young, promising group and could easily have won and should do well over the next few years.
