hugopal Dry-Tinder I get fed up of seeing these people in Tewksbury bailing water out of their houses. Tewksbury has had severe flooding 4 times in the last 15 years and basically has become an island until the water reseeds. If you’re thick enough to by a house in Tewksbury, then that’s your problem. I presume you mean Tewkesbury with two ’e’s in the UK, and not Tewksbury in Massachusetts.
RichM Dubman looking forward to the excessive news reporting on the few snowflakes we are seeing in the SE
Mad_Cyril RichM looking forward to the excessive news reporting on the few snowflakes we are seeing in the SE Ed and Alistair are old news Rich
Homegrove 303abuser we had around zero C degrees weather for a few days, and now it promises to be -10 or so C degrees for the next seven days again. That’s alright with me, better than plus degrees and slush snow, or the punishing real cold we had last week.
303abuser Yeah I’d be pretty happy with -10 right now. I got very used to no snow and above zero every day, that slushy nonsense is something I can do without too though. Only silver lining is that hopefully the snow helps keep the fires to a manageable level next summer.
Homegrove March is the fucking worst because unless you’re happy with wet feet you’re going to have to use waterproof shoes the whole fucking month. I hate the slush snow more than anything in the winter.
303abuser Homegrove I’m a bit used to running through whatever conditions, but for day to day it’s rough. Also, the temp has dropped 2 degrees since I posted. Fucking brutal. Along_the_Wire Every minute of every day for the last 15 years.
Mad_Cyril Been speaking to a friend in Helsinki, enthused about walking on the sea last weekend. It sure what HG is complaining about
Homegrove Mad_Cyril it was just in the news that it’s never 100 % safe to walk on the frozen sea outside of Helsinki. No matter how cold. 😂
