Weekend break up to Cairns. Just been swimming in the pool at 9pm. It’s still 26 and 95% humidity. (Apparent temp 32)

I love Scottish weather. It never gets crazy hot and it never gets crazy cold but you get the full spectrum of everything in between.

Crisp and clear with some snow and ice now. Was over 30 degrees less than 3 months ago.

Woke up to -32 with a -43 windchill this morning. Only saving grace is that I don’t have to leave the house most of the week. My schnauzer is normally good to walk at -20, won’t even go outside this morning with a jacket and boots on, she mad.

Homegrove In fairness, she always does, but this is the first time I’ve seen her completely reject going out. My doberman is curled up beside me, under a blanket, wearing a sweater. That one is cold when it’s above freezing.

Dubman Fleece boots to keep her paws from freezing. They’re useless when it’s wet, but for this cold, they work pretty well. I use mushers wax instead when I walk her between -5 and -15.

My little lad won’t even go out if it’s raining

Dubman Haha I had a miniature schnauzer like that who hated the rain until I took her tracking in the rain every day for 3 weeks. Solved that problem, but she wasn’t happy at the start. My dobie is actually getting better with the cold as she gets older, her first winter, she refused to go out below -10 until she was going to explode.
