What a ball-ache

I hope security are still as unfriendly as ever with the extreme and over the top entry searches for drugs / patrolling the dance floor shining lights in peoples faces.

Got the makings of a good laugh this one.

    Wally that was all bollocks, isolated incidents for people who probably needed it, nothing of the kind in 2019 when last there, and given the lack of earnings they will no doubt be trying to get as many people in as possible

        Wally please bring evidence of a negative test result within the last 48 hrs of entry

        Wally we hope that ensuring everyone is tested or vaccinated will reduce the risk for everyone.

        So why do they then say “or” in the second sentence?!

            Anyway, onto more important topics, do I risk bringing a coat?

            Hursty Dunno like. When I was last there, shortly after they reopened - for sasha all night (the one just after he released his Fabric CD) - we’d booked a vip table with queue jumping. Everyone still got aggressively patted down on their way in and made to empty pockets on the table and such like. Wasn’t the most welcoming and totally different to what it was like in the past. 🤷🏻‍♂️

                  It’s a Sasha gig, given the average age most people will have had their booster jabs by now! Nothing to worry about

                  I’m 2 weeks away from my booster.

                  Talk about skating on thin grass.

                  Have a ticket (and a clear lateral flow test etc) but also an unwell toddler so it’s in the balance at the moment.

                    Wally Been in the same VIP queue and had to do the same. Not really seen it as an issue tbh.

                    Hearing that a security guy shoved his hand down another guy’s pants in the standard ticket queue is another matter, but also something I’ve never heard again.

                        apyssjw It’s still over 48 hours to the event - be careful that your test is valid. Pretty sure that it has to be within the last 48 hours. I was going to do mine tomorrow morning and upload it.

                          BlainSA It was more in comparison to how it used to be - plus treating your ‘vips’ like they are dealers or junkies just rubbed me up the wrong way tbh. Not the best way to start an evening but c’est la vie.

                            Hope Sasha is worth shoving a covid test up my nose and down the back of my throat. <deep breath>

                                So what are the chances of Digweed turning up at fabric tomorrow for some B2b now this gig in Holland is off?

                                  Hursty I would say, since my LFT test came back positive so now I can’t go, that the odds are literally 100% likely that that is going to happen.
