Lol, Bono has never been interested in making money. He’s a man of the people

Dan Great album. The singles are amazing but so are the deeper cuts. Exit is a stand out and yes, Red Hill Mining is beautiful as is Running to stand still. Bullet and the blue sky is ferocious live. The Joshua Tree revisited gigs were great

Bono has the largest collection of Hatchbacks in Britain.

ETS live in Berlin. That is EVERYTHING.

101 is getting a rerelease. The HD master of the movie looks fucking great.

Jive Bunny and the Matermixers for me. Blew everyone else out of the water at the time and were arguably the forerunners of Dixon’s sound.

You sure you’re in the right thread Millsy?

Worry not H, I’ve downvoted him.

Fuck me, what a shitshow this thread is already.

Not sure you have to choose between Depeche Mode, New Order and Pet Shop Boys do you? I imagine the slightly non-conventional/non-mainstream people who were into one in the 80s were into all three weren’t they?

Much like people who were into The Stone Roses also being into Happy Mondays and The Charlatans a bit later.

I was listening to Bananarama and The Bangles and Bros etc if that helps, Dave. I discovered DM a lot later than all the cool kids. 😎

apyssjw It’s not Mutes studio as it belonged to Dave Stewart at the time (now owned by David Gray…I think) Junkie XL and Feeder were using it when I was given the tour. I was DJing upstairs at some Xmas party and one of the studio lads showed me around.
