A History of Trance Music in Ten Tracks

RA as always the go to/oracle for music genre lists.
How did this not make this list?!
I think it’s fine. They had 10 tracks. We’re also talking about RA here. I’m surprised they didn’t go down the “you’ve never heard this but here’s why it’s the best” or the “this record is important because the person who made it was gender neutral from 1994-97” or the “a rich white dude that one record so it is therefore unimportant” route.
Its a very good list. Id bump Xpander for Cherry Moon Tracks but thats just me.

Christ that’s shite on a bike.
Holden put out trance to my mind. Not capital T Trance but trance. Still, I don’t think anything he made can be considered in a list of top 10 most influential tracks ever. The trance ship had sailed before he put out his first track.
I’d have Xpander down as prog tbh.

MIKE should be represented. On another level to Corsten and the rest of the Durch mob in the last 90’s

Dubman Ibiza Uncovered eat your heart out! Reminds me of Rapture TV.
Universal Nation? Pass. And that’s the only track big enough to be in consideration. I’d rather have Greece 2000. TUNE.

jonattonyeah They don’t come much bigger than Strange World. Greece 2000 will always be a TUNE
alistair Surprised Al’ hasn’t offered Liquid Child - Diving Faces yet! So I will….

I know their mix of age of love was featured but it doesn’t seem enough when Odyssey, Find me and Stella wrote the fucking book
