jonattonyeah back when I was a teenager and a bit more into house this double-disc used to get rinsed:

jonattonyeah i enjoy his house music. it’s fun watching him go really deep with a clueless crowd (which is most of the time here), almost lose them, build them up, then do it again. complete control and skill a lot of ‘top’ djs lack.

hugopal I’ve seen Jeff Mills roughly shoehorn tracks over each other in a quantity over quality way in contrast to Ben Sims who has much more flow. Sims is way more entertaining for me. I also got one of his tracks recently that was very much late 90s bush style.

      BlainSA late 90s bush style

In the true JC way, going to say this was a Bush behemoth for me.

Might be my favorite Timo song. Relentless, paint-peeling track DJ Dan blasted out at a massive party and the place didn’t know what to do. Sounded like something from outer space at the time.

hugopal I’ve seen Derrick Carter DJ…a snoozefest.

Along_the_Wire It was at Barbs and I was well oiled mate…. The stage was set… Krysko/Will Saul and then Derrick came on who looked tired and bored.

The last time I saw Derrick Carter play at Phonox he was absolutely dreadful.

        Was phoning it in.

Dubman Crossover techno? Seen a lot of prog DJs play it.

Amps seen Trannies with Attitude (TWA) play Red 2 at Vague in Leeds too

I have to confess, they have somewhat passed me by.

Amps TWA and Vague at the Warehouse was very much of their time. I spent three years at Leeds Uni. The Orbit in Morley was the first and last time I saw Dave Clarke

Seeing as it is 909 day, we might as well honor the master
