hugopal I’ve seen Jeff Mills roughly shoehorn tracks over each other in a quantity over quality way in contrast to Ben Sims who has much more flow. Sims is way more entertaining for me. I also got one of his tracks recently that was very much late 90s bush style.

      Might be my favorite Timo song. Relentless, paint-peeling track DJ Dan blasted out at a massive party and the place didn’t know what to do. Sounded like something from outer space at the time.

              The last time I saw Derrick Carter play at Phonox he was absolutely dreadful.

                            Had a mate that was so excited he was going to see Jeff Mills. This was about 15 years ago. Couldn’t stop going on about it and would tell everyone he met he was going. Caught up with him after and asked him how it went only for him to give a big sigh and sum it up as constant build ups that were about to explode and then didn’t “like fucking a bird and you’re about to come and then she tells you to stop”
