You’re very kind.

It’s hard to imagine how far your tactile skills would be stretched responding to my effort 😂😂😂

Mad_Cyril 🤣 i meant it. i learned how to mix records in about a year with daily effort. i’m 5 years into producing and feel like i know nothing, i can relate.

    a month later

quick update … mastering is starting this week after a brief delay caused by real life. optimistically looking at the end of the month, maybe a touch longer.

first 5 tracks are done, should have this all finished by the weekend, then i’ll work on uploading them for everyone here. i’m really happy with how this project is turning out, it’s sounding very much like what i had in my head to start out with.

baggers44 you’ll be my test subject for how to get these tracks to everyone in the easiest way. thanks in advance. 😅

the album is done, just doing a final listen to make sure i’m happy with the track order. it starts in a familiar place, but overall it’s darker and moodier, with a bit more pace than some of my previous work.

don’t have a formal release date yet, but for everyone who replied here, i’ll start the upload process this week to get things going. here are the links for free downloads of my insectorama releases on bandcamp if anyone wants them (also included my bandcamp page at the bottom). if you want a track that isn’t a free dl, just reply or dm me and i’ll get you a copy, no need to be paying for anything.

      🙂

Millsy thanks, i appreciate it. a good chunk of the new album isn’t far off that sound.

Eterna - Organix (Ekodust Remix) is lovely! It would make a great set opener with some rearrangement.

SM001 @Henry gets the credit for that one, i just expanded on his really good idea. i love the original version he did.

here’s the album preview, release date is november 22nd on insectorama.

SM001 thanks, that’s one of my favorites too.

and yeah, i’m really happy with the whole thing, i don’t think i could do any better right now, at my current skill level. i cut out one track that wasn’t quite there (it’s going on a comp in december) and have two more that didn’t quite fit the aesthetic, so i had lots of material to choose from. i hope it translates when people listen to it, because technically, it’s leaps ahead of where i was a year ago.

303abuser Keep doing what you’re doing. From the album samples it certainly sounds like you’re on the right track. Congrats with the album!
