Along_the_Wire they had an object with no identifier code as the “transponder had been turned off.” ATC on the day stated it didn’t move like a passenger jet, everyone in ATC thought it moved like a fighter jet. Or as other witnesses who actually saw it stated, a missile with wings.

LT42 I ain’t no Sherlock Holmes, but whatever that was came in parallel to the ground. Surely a commercial plane would have only been able to lawn-dart it into that building, even from the most skilled of pilots? To come in like that, virtually cutting the grass, surely it must have been doing that for at least a mile or so without clipping anything on it’s way in? On a map there’s a bunch of houses/buildings the other side of the motorway that would have surely taken the impact first if it was that low?!

Old-Dutch There was footage from the petrol station that faced the exact impact site, FBI took that footage away and it’s never been seen since. If it’s too sensitive to watch, and I can’t imagine why it would be as the tower impacts have been on a loop for 20 years, then just release a still image of the jet, put this to bed in one move.

Also, what’s all that smoke outside the building to the left of the frame at the beginning of the clip? Why is it there 6 seconds before impact?

Unless it’s dust possibly - were there renovations going on at the time?

ScottBailey correct, a commercial airliner cannot descend from 7000ft in 2 and half minutes and make a tight 360 degree turn bringing it level to the ground without it breaking apart from the G-Forces, and thats before we even talk about the ability of the pilot doing it. Fortunately for those who put together the 9/11 report there are many who don’t understand those physics and therefore the original story seems plauisble. Its not plausible. Its complete nonsense.

7500ft down to ground level in 2 and a half minutes is technically a nose dive for a commercial 757, if that indeed happened (which it didnt when looking at the actual radar record) then the fuselage would break apart when levelling the nose. Even an experienced fighter pilot would struggle to do it before crashing into a fireball.

Along_the_Wire no, a missle creates a hydrocarbon fire that burns out relatively quickly. A jet fuel fire would burn with the materials for days, as we saw at WTC. The fire at the Pentagon was out before it got dark, the 9/11 report says they found the black box that night. Missiles are designed to destroy targets, not create fires, which are secondary.

LT42 I just find it odd that the only eyewitness reports I’ve ever seen or heard from this event came from people inside the complex (seeing it only seconds before). Even if the radar detection was turned off, the angle that plane must of come in from would have gone right over what seems to be Arlington Village and a huge highway intersection. How have we not heard from people seeing/videoing a plane screaming across the Washington skyline at 09:30 towards the Pentagon? Or have we?
Having lived in London long enough, you can spot a plane a mile off that’s coming into land at Heathrow or City Airport. Locals get to recognise the flight route, so anything else would just look off.
Not as if people weren’t able to record the WTC crashes on video either, and they were out of nowhere. Eyes would have been all over the skies at that point!

LT42 3000 fpm descent rate is not a nosedive. Its steep yes, but not a nosedive. Here is the first google hit for such descent rates:

A few days ago I was on a flight from SFO to AUS (Airbus 320) and I was shocked by the steep angle of descent into AUS. I have been on over a hundred commercial flights but I’ve never experienced such a steep descent. I checked the flight on flightaware.com and noticed that the descent rate was 3,000 to 4,000 fpm. On other days the descent rate is closer to 2,500 fpm.
