The Boo Yourself one from 03 was so good. Back then they hadn’t gotten the balance of his AIDs meds and anti depressants just right, so he was still all puffy and shit. Anyways, the flyer featured his giant head on the shrunken body of a devil or imp, making a growling face and wielding a pitchfork.

Millsy Finally a DJ who doesn’t take himself too seriously lol!

Dresses up a flute player in a marching band who then storms off because people are talking during his set!

Oh fuck thats right. If it was a Be Yourself night at Arc you had to check your cell phone with your coat before you were admitted.

Smallman1 The venue is open for 8 hours and he’s not the only DJ on. Doesn’t sound like an extended set by DTs standards. (Unless they’ve got a 24 hour license and can keep going throughout Saturday onwards)

Heno I was front and centre for that. I remember being shirtless when he played some track called Heaven Scent at the end.

NOW THATS WHAT I CALL TOPS OFF SMALLMAN YOU SKINNY FUCKING BASTARD

      Video or STFU.

Saw Danny T once. That moon-faced weirdo leveled the place in fairness. 1015 Folsom. Belted this out and it sounded amazing.

LT42 Sydney disk 2, is up there with NE2 disk 1 for flow. Near perfect.

Massive respect for Amps not letting this one go.

zackster disagree - on Disc 2 I think Diggers actually generally avoided obvious big room tracks in favour of cohesion. It’s more peak-time, underground, hypnotic vortex mode, rather than big room bangers.

Clear example, as I’ve already pointed out, if he’d wanted to go more in the big room direction he would have included the original of Stoneproof, rather than the dubby Alternative version. As it is there are no tracks on the disc anywhere near as “large” as Xpander, Mercury & Solace or Heaven Scent . They all tend more towards the subtle and driving, which is one of the reasons why the mix works so well.

Dan Whilst the fat knacker is belting out Boston’s ‘more than a feeling’.

          I’m fuckin’ crying!

zackster the Evolution mix, which is very stripped down and not very similar to the huge original at all.

Right. Its just Digweed being the flipside to the Sasha coin. For disc 2 Sasha went bright and emotive while Diggers went dark and brooding. Still counts as playing the prog hits of the day in my book.

seanc80 never heard of it ! We were there all day at the time I taught John Cecchini was the best thing I ever seen! The atmosphere was borderline feral at times , what a time to be alive
