I mean, he mixes quite well considering he’s a primate.
Disc 2s of Superior Quality
Disc 1 of GU007 is almost perfect. I cried to it listening to it driving round ibiza. I’ve nver actually heard CD2 but cannot believe it could be any better.
lets switch gears and talk about how good disc 1 of buenos aires is. always been a big fan of that one. and while i like disc 2 as well, the first one is better.
303abuser Playlist is all over the place and the mixing is atrocious. Would expect better from such a big name DJ
ScottBailey lol i probably deserve that.

303abuser all good pal. Enjoying the debate.
Love Twin Town and Breakthrough, but it honestly sounds like he’s just aligned everything in ProTools and used a basic fade out on the tune before when mixing. Lazy!
ScottBailey yeah me too, it’s all good fun and makes no difference in the world anyways.
the mixing is lazy for sure, but at least it’s beat matched and phrased properly, even if some of the levels leave something to be desired. the programming is good though, i like the flow (intro is great and the last four to close have always done it for me).
007 CD1 is far more memorable than 006 CD2, in a good way…
I’m finding out very quickly from this thread that some of you did far too many yokes back in the day.
ScottBailey I think I have to give it a listen tomorrow! No recollection of any of that.
Some revelations throughout!

BT - Fibonacci Sequence is some opener. Talk about a statement of intent. Sasha fucking years ahead of the crowd with that selection. Still sounds fresh 20 years later.

As for Xpander feeling out of place, yeah it does, but that’s purely becuase it’s an anthem. He’d of been better off sticking it on the end.
mono-stereo
It’s wicked tune. Wish I had it on vinyl.
Dubman Wouldn’t sound out of place on any set today.
Xpander > Belfunk
