I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to suggest Davy g probably thought he would rid the world of racism in one fell swoop with the airing of that track. If you notice the intensity of his stare at the camera, he is definitely thinking “this is it! I’ve done it!”

I will agree that there’s some samey-ness to some of his stuff, but every SINGLE time I’ve seen him live, he has me dancing and smiling the entire time. I don’t do the Burn myself, and he DOES have a flock of ‘interesting’ people around him these days, but the stuff he plays makes me feel happy. As someone mentioned, it’s no Digweed vortex, but it’s good for me. I’ll take care to recommend any of his sets coming up though, damn. lol

For me it’s just frustration and nostalgia. He used to be so good at throwing all sorts of things together and having it make sense. Going from Halo to Hybrid with just one track in between. Not that anymore. For the style of house he’s going for, I’d rather listen to Unbroken’s sets.
